topic Computer Return Question..... in Electronics

I recently bought an entry level (cheap) netbook from a local retailer and clearly got what I paid for....not much, so I'm going to return it. What steps should I take to completely remove any information I may have entered into it before I return it to the store? I did register the anti-virus under my email address and did a bit of web browsing.

Thanks in advance for your advice!
