iPad update

I found a service that was turned off after the most recent update. Home Sharing found through settings then video. I was trying to watch a video on my iPad through Apple TV and there was no option. Once I turned on home sharing, the icon appeared.

Thanks for this. Kinda wish they wouldn't reset settings when they update things. But I still love my Apple products.

I agree. Don't like that they reset settings with upgrades. Especially since I set some of them just by paying with different settings and trial and error. When I have to reset everything I can't remember what specific thing I set previously. I know most of them, but not all.

Mine didn't need to be reset after this update. I have the iPad with retina display and the latest Touch. My setting still showed Sharing in place. I tested it on the iPad, and it played the movie just like before. Maybe some people have Restrictions in place that affects where you have to go back and allow Sharing each time. I don't have Restrictions set.

It's the first time I've had a problem after an update. My iPad played movies using Apple TV the day before the update and after the update, the option for Apple TV was missing.

A little OT but I loved the camera on my iPhone 5 until one of the upgrades, and now I hate it. I wish there were some way to restore to the original camera feature.
