Question about Updating iOS and older Apps

I updated to iOS 7.0 when it was introduced and really hated what it did to my ibooks app so I deleted the iBooks app and re-synced it on my computer that had not been updated to get the old iBooks back. My question is if I update to any iOS updates to come (7.1) will this change my older version of iBooks back to the awful (imo) newer version or will it remain as I synced it?

I dislike the stark background and missed the look of the bookshelf so that is why I reverted back.

Yes, they changed it with 7.0 and all future updates will have the new look. My mom misses the old one, too. I always use my Kindle app and didn't even notice the change, but I did think the old bookshelf image was really cute.

Yeah, everything changes. Looks more like Kindle now--not a particularly good thing IMO! But it works as well as always...

The worst part of the change is having to log in every time I turn on my phone. That is beyond irritating!

Passcode can be turned off in Settings so you don't have to enter it every time you turn your device on.

You won't find it irritating if your device is lost or stolen.
