Hi. Thanks for the note to backup before updating to IOS7. I did that and installed IOS7 no problem. I am finding since the update that my ipad is slower than it used to be. I have ipad 3. Did this happen to anyone else? Any advice to correct this? TIA. LM

Did you just update to iOS7.1 from iOS7 or from an even earlier version?

You can take it to an Apple store to see if they can help or to show them. You didn't say how much slower (somewhat slower, significantly, unbearably...), but it's pretty typical of a new OS to run a little more slowly on older devices because it's optimized for the latest device with the newest processor. I know one of the changes to iOS 7.1 was to help it run better on the older iPhone 4S.

Hi ChynnaBlue, thanks for the reply. I update regularly so my updates would have been current before this IOS7. I thought it was updated from IOS6 to IOS7 but if IOS7 was available before, I probably had it installed. Come to think of it, it may only be QVC.com that is slow. I will monitor that over the next few days. LM

I have an iPad 4 and iPhone 5. Did the update to both the other night. Everything went fine with the updates. In fact, I am finding that both of my devices are a bit faster. Also the battery power seems to be improved as well. Was having terrible battery consumption with the iPad after the big switch from IOS 6 to 7. This latest update seems to have improved that. Maybe I am crazy, and it's just the same, lol.

GLB613, by slow I mean it is taking pages longer to load so I can't zip around as I usually do. I am thinking, though that this might just be QVC. I see others complaining about QVC on ipad and computers. Why is it QVC doesn't manage ipad so well? Will be more conscious of speed today and if the problem persists, I'll stop by the Apple store. DOOBDOO, will check software updates again to make sure I have the most up to date one. Thanks all for your help. LM
