OT - Does anyone know when HSN will broadcast in HD-TV?

I am recent to a HD-TV but HSN does not seem to broadcast in that medium. Thoughts? And thanks in advance!

They do here is Seattle area. I think it is up to the cable company. I can get it on channel 17 not HD or on channel 683 in HD. A couple of years ago it was not available HD here either. Do You have Infinity/ Comcast?

I have it in HD already and in fact our cable has it shown on two different stations. The latest station seems to be a re-run of the previous day items, though and thought that was weird.

I should have mentioned that I have DirectTV - in the Denver area. Maybe I need to check and see if they broadcast on another channel in HD - other than the channel I am used to watching. Thanks for your input.

We lost it here too. Only our TVs with the cable box get HSN now and at $15 per month per box we only have a box on 2 sets. My little TV in my den where I am most of the time can't get it anymore.

They already do but your provider my not provide it. DISH had it on Q & HSN when HD first came out. Now they don't. They use the space it takes for other HD channels.

Just this month, in my market, we got the HD version of hsn.

We also got HD SHQ but it's kind of weird because it's not widescreen. It's just center screen but definitely is in HD. They just added about a zillion new channels, especially new HD channels here. We have Charter.

We also just got HD version of JTV with this change. We already had HD QVC.

So, I guess the moral of the story is that it depends on your market - what your provider offers.

Kaybee - Wow! $15 per box? That's just wrong. To think I was a little miffed because our boxes had gone up from $5 to $6.99. My cable cards are only $1, though. I have two of those for my two Tivos and the one unit I get for free is one of those. I asked why can't one of the $6.99 boxes be the free one. ha! She said it doesn't work that way. Makes sense.

I get free over-the-airwaves TV, no cable or dish, and I get both QVC and HSN perfectly (plus a LOAD of other channels). It probably varies depending on where you live.

I think it depends on cable company

FWiW HSN HD is on my Roku but not cablevision.

Cablevision is sports crazy so I have given up hope on getting HSN in HD, I would probably watch more because the picture is not great.

I have DirecTV and so far only QVC is in HD. Some channels have gotten clearer lately, including SHQ. Those non HD channels used to be really blurry.
