Can someone please tell me how to get rid of those Right Coupon pop-ups? I recently installed AdBlockPlus to get rid of ads by "Keep Now" (which is desperately trying to get back on) & so far, it is working; but, doesn't help with the Right Coupon. I looked for it under extensions, but its not there.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Yes, I do. I have the paid version which is only $25 and well worth the money. The paid version provides real time protection.

You can always go to the website and buy it later. There is also a free program called SuperantiSpyware that I would recommend you also download, install, update and run.

Have you check your program list? You might find an entry for the programs and you can uninstall them.

I downloaded the SuperantiSpyware yesterday & unfortunately it did not get rid of the ads by Right Coupon. I had downloaded AdBlock Plus a few days ago & it did keep the Keep Now ads off (although they keep trying to come back on), but did nothing for the Right Coupon ads.

So, think I will give up & get the paid version of Malwarebytes. I believe we did try the free version, but it expired sometime ago & we didn't renew it.

Thanks for all your help! Oh yes, I did check the programs & couldn't find Right Coupon on there.

glb613 - I need to ask you a few more questions (sorry to be such a pest). I downloaded the Malwarebytes Pro & it did get rid of the Right Coupon. When I did the scan, it gave me a list of items (in red) that were infecting my computer. I'm sure it listed Eazel Search on the bottom of the list, but it still shows up when I turn the computer on. Is there something I should have clicked on to get rid of all the items on my computer it listed? If so, can I just do the scan again?

Also, I guess the Malwarebytes is in a PDF file (which we don't have). It does have a place to click for the free PDF - should I go ahead & do that? Boy, I am totally confused - I would so like to be a technical guru & be able to know all this stuff.

Thanks for trying to help me!

Meeras - you are so right - LOL.

Unfortunately, the option to select all items found is not the default setting. You can right click on any entry and choose check all then click on remove/delete them. If you open the program and go to settings, there is the option to automatically check items found. Choose that or remember to right click. You can also change the setting to generate a log report when the scan is done. That is also found through settings. I have it set to NOT auto show log. As with most Windows based programs, select apply or OK when done to change the settings.

I run fast scans and then a full scan if items are found. I'd recommend you run a full scan and delete everything the program finds.

glb613 - I think I finally got rid of those annoying ads & the Eazel Search - sure hope they won't be coming back. Do I need to run the AdwCleaner every so often or should Malwarebytes keep them from coming on?

Thanks a MILLION for all your help in solving this problem!

I'm not familiar with Adwcleaner so I can't comment. There are several antimalware programs I like. Malwarebytes is the one I think is the best. With that being said, it doesn't find everything. I also like SuperantiSpyware and it's free. Here is a download site. Pick the free edition.

SuperAntispyware
