LOOKING FOR MOTO G PHONE CASE

I always buy a sturdy phone case when I get a new phone.

With this new phone, Moto G, I'm not sure I'm identifying the correct model, and I'm not sure if the phone sizes vary.

Some cases say Moto G stylus or Moto G Power ... or additional words that seem like model variations.

Could the measurements and fit be the same?

I've been refining the search on eBay, but I'm not sure I'm looking at what will fit my new phone.

This may be very simple, but I'm not sure .... any suggestions?

@Tinkrbl44 Check Amazon. They will tell you if the case you want fits your model phone in the description area.

@Tinkrbl44 - If you look at your phone's settings and look at "About Phone" it will tell you your model number. Search on that to make sure you're getting the right phone case.

I always buy through Amazon so, if there's a problem, I can do a free return. So far though, over the years, I've always gotten the right cases for our phones.

I don't know which Moto G you bought (64 Gb or 128 Gb; 2025 or 2026?), but the Moto G is not the Stylus or the Power. Check out the camera configuration on the back of the phones, too. That will be a useful hint.

I purchased it here on QVC. Item # E333308

Tracfone Moto G 64GB.

Assuming that the Stylus, Power and Plus are other models, but sizing could be different, too ... right?

The confusion is that most cases also list a phone year 2025, in addition to the other models.

I just want to avoid returning a case that doesn't fit for some simple reason I overlooked.

@Tinkrbl44 The year the phone was manufactured is determined by the serial &/or model #. If it's not listed on the packaging/box or mentioned somewhere in the phone settings (usually under your account or your phone), research it online.

The cases for my phones, all I did was enter the phone name & serial or model # in Amazon's search field. All the cases for just my phone came up.

Amazon lists not only my exact phone model but also other phones my case was compatible with.

@Tinkrbl44. I've found pretty cases for similar phone by going to eBay and entering the full name of the phone. They've always fit perfecttly.

@Tinkrbl44 - You're correct; the sizing and cut-outs on cases will not match all the various models.

I've always found on Amazon that a seller will be specific about which model a case will or will not fit.

DH has the Moto G 2025, 128Gb, which would take the same case as the one it sounds like you have. His model number is XT2513V.

I agree with this! When I got my Moto G phone several years ago, I got a sturdy and beautiful one on Amazon. They had many, many to choose from - and not expensive.

Yeah, that's it. The new Moto seems lighter than my Samsung Galaxy, which surprised me.

@Tinkrbl44 - I've never owned a Samsung, so I can't compare them, but I do know all of my Motorolas have been "sturdy", especially with the Gorilla Glass.

I've dropped my Moto Edge now too many times to mention (just a klutz lately) and there isn't a scratch on it. I've dropped it onto the stone floor in my mudroom and thought for sure it would be damaged - I only have the thin case that came with it and it hit screen down - but, nope! Still perfect.

I prefer the lighter weight of the Moto Edge to that of the Moto Stylus I had, although I loved that phone, too.

Good luck finding a case you love!

(Oh and DH has that phone that you do and he's never gentle with anything. His is still perfect after more than 8 months.)

The last two cases I bought were Spigen, and I really like them. The first had ribbing along the long sides, which helps a smidge with grasp. For whatever reason, the next one I decided on had smooth sides, and I noticed a difference in grasp.

So I'm getting a Spigen with ribbed edges again.

I've actually never dropped my phones, going back centuries, so the glass cover doesn't seem necessary.

My neighbor has an iPhone and insists the glass covering is VERY important. She also buys insurance for her phone.

Trying not to be too snarky, I pointed out that her phone costs a thousand bucks, and my new one costs $59, including a Tracfone plan for a year, so I felt comfortable passing on the cover and insurance.

I'm another fan of Spigen cases. They've been very good for me. My current case is an FNTCASE for my Moto G Stylus, and it's also been very good. And cheaper at just $9.

I'm glad you said that. I just looked at a FNTCASE on Amazon, but I wasn't familiar with this brand. It is textured, and I'm tempted.

I'm glad you said that. I just looked at a FNTCASE on Amazon, but I wasn't familiar with this brand. It is textured, and I'm tempted.

I've had my FNTCASE since early October, and it still looks new. It works fine, and seems to offer good protection. I haven't been dribbling my phone on concrete, but the protection seems comparable to most phone cases I've used. I think they're a pretty good brand based on my limited (one phone case) experience.
