PULLING MY HAIR OUT

I have bought several LED light bulbs for my outside front door.Every single one is not working.Ive tried them in my house lamps and they work.Today my landlord is coming over to see what's wrong.Could it be possibly bad wiring?I've checked circuit breaker and everything is turned on.Im really going nuts over this

Is the light bulb a 'dusk-to-dawn' type of bulb? If it is then try putting it in the porch light fixture at night when it's dark outside and see if it comes on.

Also make sure that the porch light fixture doesn't have a light sensor built into it where that would automatically turn a light bulb off and then on when it gets dark outside.

Some outside light have a motion sensor (mine does) and won't turn on until they detect someone walking to the door.

This is the way our patio lights operate, they come on when it is dark enough to do so. And the sensors are sensitive to the light, one of ours comes on about 10 minutes before the other one.

All porch lights have an indoor switch somewhere. Usually near the door...

When we had new outside lights installed a few years ago, they stated specifically that they would not work with LED bulbs. We have to use incandescent or compact fluorescent.

Ours are motion-sensor lights.

@Cats3000 Yes he did stop by and messed with it.He said the light fixture was shot and will be replaced.Now the million dollar question will he do as he says?He's known for taking his time anytime it comes to money

Given the history of your landlord and repairs, did you try any of the other suggestions? They do not sound expensive. Pretty easy for your landlord to just walk away which, according to previous posts, seems consistent. Are your sure that the fixture is "shot," whatever he meant by that?
