Two days ago I lost my local NBC, ABC, and CBS station in Albuquerque which were replaced by network programming and news reports from other cities for which I'm not interested in hearing their local news. I've reported it daily with no response.

Anyone else having this problem?

@Kachina624 You have to make sure whoever is the master on your Youtube account didn't change your location area.

If you're the main person, reset your location in your account settings so Youtube knows where you are again.

Change your home area

Open the YouTube TV app.
Select your profile photo Location Home Area.
Select Update Home Area.

You cannot change your home area if:

You already changed your home area twice in the last 12 months
You aren’t currently located in your new home area

Some more instructions:

On a smart TV

If you're watching with our TV app, you can update your current playback area (for example, if you're traveling).

Open the YouTube TV app on your TV.
Select your profile photo Location.
Select Update next to "Current playback area."
On your mobile device, go to tv.youtubetv.com/verify. Allow the website to access your device’s location to update your current playback area.

On a mobile device

Open YouTube TV.
Select your profile photo Location.
Select Update next to "Current playback area."

If we can't correctly identify your location, you'll be asked to go to tv.youtubetv.com/verify . Allow the website to access your device’s location (if you haven't already) to verify the current playback area.

2 people have similar issues. Solutions are the same as the ones already posted here.

Nope. All good in Western NY and Finger Lakes region.

@Laura14. Thanks but I'm the only person on the account. 8ve gone through those steps listed, changed my location which already showed correctly, but it didn't make a difference.

I guess I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and reset my router.

@Kachina624 If nothing works, try this long shot if you have a "smart" tv &/or use a Firestick or have an Amazon smart tv.

**Unknown on how to on Roku as I do not have it.**

Go into your settings

Select Apps

Select YouTube TV

Delete the Cache...DO NOT DELETE "Data" if you do not want to redo ALL your settings including password.

"Restart" your smart tv. See if that resolves your issue

Long long long shot....

Unplug your TV wait 5 minutes before plugging back in.

I fiddled with it last night, sent more messages to YouTubeTV, and this morning it seems to be fixed. I'm not sure what I did that would have fixed it.

I really wonder of someone hacked into it since one of the new stations was El Paso. There are lots of people here with ties there. I changed all my passwords. No way would i ever give a password to another person.
