topic Pandigital 9" e-reader how doI get android apps w/o voiding warranty in Electronics

I have purchased the PDN 9", the PanImage 7"(haven't received yet) and the Coby Kyros 7015. I want a e-reader/tablet that has android apps. Can still be used as a e-reader, browser capability an a varies apps. I have an Android phone that is 2.1 So there are apps that I'm use to. Why would Pandigital and Android OS w/o Android apps? Then offer firmware that provides apps but void the warranty. Is there a way to download the app I have on my phone to the SD card. and transfer to PC to load to tablet? I'm growing frustrated with not having Android apps. With Android apps it just a larger e-reader with wifi capability. Greatly appreciate any help, before I finally just send back to QVC.
