More times than not...I have to confirm I'm HUMAN and have to verify my identity by getting a "code" via phone call...

I "thought" computers were supposed to SIMPLIFY your life...

At my old job, you had twenty-plus passwords, each one had to be different, and you needed to change them every thirty days. That was chaos. Every piece of software we used had a separate login. So much fun.

I didn't have to change it that many times at my old job. But, enough to make if a PITA! Over reaction is as bad as not enough.

One of the best passwords came recommended ... it's the seven-digit phone number when we were children.

Mine was before they came up with area codes and letters or symbols can be added, as needed.

You never forget your childhood phone number, and it was in your parents' name, not yours.

Try tracking something like that down! lol.

Sometimes you need an additional security question. One of mine was my mother's maiden name. It was wrong. What!!! What do you do then? I gave up.

Nope. I always make sure to capitalize or not. Yes it makes a difference.

@Mz iMac - This gave me a good laugh!

And it's so true! I go through something like this every month when I try to pay my bills. Of course they have to send a code to my phone, which is usually in another room.

So time consuming!
