Anyone use Google?

It started about 2 hours ago everytime I go to my Google home page I get a message and have to click a box that I am not a robot. Anyone else?

Lol. It appears you don't actually use the Internet because that's fairly standard and has been for many years. It's used on many websites and apps. It's, I use Google. Probably 30 times a day to look up stuff.

DH made our own Homepage. We have used it ever since we started using a computer long ago.

Never asked me if I was a robot?

@Imaoldhippie I get that a lot. I think when I have many open pages, or it might be because of a security feature in my computer. It is just checking I am not a bot. Not a big deal. Try closing windows and rebooting if it annoys you. With mac's safari, I don't have a "home" page.

I've also noticed more websites doing this. Especially ones that I go to frequently.

The ones I hate are when they want you to pick out an object in a series of pictures. The photos are often so grainy I can't distinguish what's in them.

I am with you @geezerette!. Many times I can't see that well in my laptop. Yesterday I struggled with bridges and cars.

I'm convinced they do that on purpose!😄 A robot would be able to distinguish the objects on the first try, but the normal human eye would not.

@geezerette The bots actually can't. Or at least that is what was in an article in the WSJ I read today. They said the tests keep getting harder and harder to stay ahead of the bots, because they are using the tests to train the bots. Once the bots figure them out, they do something new on the tests...
