The new Mac OS - Sequoia - is available. I'll wait to see if the early installers have significant bugs.

Also, iPadOS 18 is available. It took about 30 minutes for me to complete the install. There are noticeable differences. And Calculator is back! Woo-hoo!

Note: if you sticking with iPadOS 17 for a bit longer, there is an important security fix for 17.

IOS 18 completely messed up my iphone 13. If I delete a message on my Apple watch (series 9) the entire thread is deleted on my phone. And not just the thread from the original deleted message but threads from various people.

Apple "fixed" this issue with IOS 18.0.1. Not so.

I've been on the phone with the Apple techs for hours. The latest one sent analytics into the engineers.

So far, ithe bug is still not fixed. The Apple tech did tell me that this is not affecting ALL phones.

I'm just lucky

I downloaded Sequoia yesterday, At first it was only 16 minutes. So that was done, and then it took another 30+ minutes. I guess it was, "initializing" or some thing. Well, no problems, all went well.

I think it first came out in September.
