Click that, then it will say "Prepare for New iPad" clk. Get Started. It will also say, "Make sure everything's ready to transfer to a new iPad. Then it should walk you throught it from there. If from there you have any difficulties, you can always call Apple for further assistance.

@Jeddy @Hi Jeddy, first you need to back up your data to the cloud before you trade it in (or donate, or whatever you decide to do with it). You do this in settings. After you've backed up the data, then you can erase it and restore to factory setting. You do that in settings too and it's simple, just follow the prompts. Once you have a new iPad, it's a breeze to download your data (including apps and passwords, everything) from the cloud. It does it kind of automatically and takes care of itself. I don't remember exactly how to start the download - maybe you turn it on and it starts. But I just remember being amazed at how simple and seamless it was.

You might need to update your new iPad to the new ipadOS. Hope this helps.

@Jeddy, when you get your new iPad, make sure that your old one has been backed up. When you start your new one and you sign in with the same Apple id as your old iPad, there will be a few options on the screen - set as new, set up as your other iPad, or set up as another Apple device (if you have one), and I think transferring from a android device. Just choose set up as your other iPad. I wouldn't be surprised if there are software updates, also. After your new is up and running, I like to go to Settings>general>about, then I change the name of my iPad to my name + what generation ipad I have. If you are not keeping your old iPad, there are a few other things that you need to do on that one. But, I would call 800-MYAPPLE and they can go through each step with you. If you're not comfortable starting the new one on your own, you can call them for help. Hope this helps.
