Samsung Galaxy A15 Tracfone 5G has anyone purchased this phone?

Looking for a smaller phone with a good battery. Has anyone purchased the Samsung A15 Tracfone? Do you like this phone?

My Samsung A10E taking a long time to charge and has received last updates.

I'm not familiar with your phone, but I just bought my 3rd Samsung.

I just stopped using the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G for the A14 5G plus a year with Tracfone.

I'm not sure if you want something physically smaller or lighter weight, but the measurements are almost identical with my two phones.

FWIW, I'm very pleased with Samsung.

@Tinkrbl44 : Thank you. I love Samsung phones. Daughter just told me not to purchase because Samsung phones have a history of exploding. Told her never heard this but she wants a new I Phone phone that she can't afford.

I have small hands and need something smaller and lighter.

Actually, the only thing I don't like is that I changed which style of phone case I bought. I'm getting used to it, so perhaps in a couple weeks I won't be aware of the difference anymore.

i've been buying tracfones for several years. I just updated to the samsung A14. I love it. my last one was about 1 year old, but adding another yr of service was almost the same price of a new one.(i was watching for sale price w/ez pay) so i got the A14. i ordered a different case, from azon.

I delete the games. they add when ever an update happens.

Ditto here .... I got it on HSN for $79. A few days ago I noticed that the current price for this phone is now $199. Whoa!

SO glad it came with a year of Tracfone serevice!

I like Samsung. All my TV are Samsung. May I ask why you stopped using the A13. 5G? I brought this last March from HSN and works good. Just curious. Did you not like it or just want a new updated one?
I get a new up dated one every year, but tired of transferring everything. Might keep this one for awhile.

My year of Tracfone service was up in May so I purchased the closest thing to what I was using, mostly for the year of service. I paid $79 for the new phone, 1500 min, text and data plus a year of service on an HSN TSV. HOW can you possibly beat that?

A month later I noticed my exact phone and plan was then selling for $199 on HSN.

Remember the old saying "Give away the razors to sell the blades"?

Tracfone is, basically, giving away the phones to enroll you in their service. IMO, it's a VERY good deal.

I love this phone. It's just about 1\4 inch longer than my previous phone. Plus more battery power than the other phone. Still learning all the features.

I purchased this phone but it did not fully charge. Returned but now that phone is not available. Was this phone not a good product and is that why it is not available? If sold out, why is it taking so long to restock?

One year of service....works out to about 7.60 a month UNLIMITED talk and text.

GOODBYE VERIZON LANDLINE...and all that HORRIBLE customer service. I held onto it WAAAAAAYYYYYYY too long. ( My internet was bundled with that phone...My new internet provider is way better, faster, and MUCH better customer service....)

Verizon Internet-landline bundle??? 123.00 per month ....1,476 per year!!!! YIKES!!!!

I dont' use the cell phone data function....I have a laptop at home for that and I don't need maps to go to Walmart and Aldi once a week....for my use this is PERFECT!!!!

And if I want or need more data, I can buy it from the Tracphone. No problem!!!

And.....when I'm home it connects to WIFI so I can use data to my hearts content....same at my doctor's office and while waiting at the dealer to get my car serviced.

It sold out pretty fast!!!

The phone is beautiful. Took about ten minutes to transfer my old TF number to this new phone.

Very pleased with TracPhone. For me...I buy what I need and no more.

And I don't care what anyone thinks about what kind of phone I have or what color my text bubble is.!!!!

Next to go will be Direct TV. They AND Verizon raise thier rates every other month it seems. I'm DONE. Current DTV package is 119 a month....with the Verizon landline of 123 month that a TON of money to spend each month on nonsense TV and a landline!!!

$2,904 dollars a year to be exact. RIDICULOUS!!! I can stream that same garbage from some streaming service that costs ZERO.

Inertia is expensive!!!!

I have to say that the price jumping for Tracfones at HSN has been greater in the past year.

Last year when I got my current Samsung A14 5G, I paid $79 for the year plus 1500 mins etc.

A few months later I noticed my phone was selling for $199!

A couple weeks ago it was selling for $69, and now it's out of stock.

Today, 1-28, the A15 is selling for $99.

I'm interesting in knowing when the next Tracfone promotion shows will be on HSN ... if anyone knows?

@Tinkrbl44 @mrshckynut : I am using my phone more and needed a better phone. My last few phones had a weaker battery. I need to double check because I can not remember but it had unlimited talk and text. Previously my DH was my tech person but his health issues everything is now my responsibility. His primary care doctor insisted on using the patient portial : I hate this stuff and struggling to use it.I am dealing with a lot of health issues and stress. I had a lot of trouble trying to activate my last few phones even with the help of tracfone customer service. Everyone has to do what is best for them. If I spent too much money for this phone and made the wrong purchase it's my big mistake to deal with. The size of the phone was a big factor for me. I have small hands, I use a walker and needed a phone that would fit in my skirt pocket.

I am praying that come June it will not be too expensive to purchase another service plan instead of having to purchase another phone and dealing with the activation process. Just venting. I always appreciate the help and suggestions from forum posters.

I use the Patient portal for my doctors on my computer. I don't know how anyone can use a phone. The font size is so small and difficult to read.

@gadgetgal613 : I totally agree and understand. My husband has the computer . I hate the computer. I have back and neck issues and everything hurts sitting at the computer. But his Doctor office : the patient portal computer directions are difficult and DH didn't know how to install it and I know nothing about computers.

I made a major mistake. When I made the purchase , my old phone was really unreliable, took a long time to charge and would not keep the charge. I have until June to decide what to do.
