I need Windows 8 help......

I clicked on an app in the toolbar and it came up on my desktop. Now I cannot get rid of it. I even restarted my laptop and it was still there. Any help would be appreciated to get rid of that app. The app. is for copying dvds and making dvds.

Try hitting the Windows key. It has a picture of the Windows symbol on the key. That should take you back to the tiles.

yes that works, but when I go back to desktop the app is still there. I thought restarting would help but I just cannot get rid of that app.

You can send apps to trash directly from your desktop. I placed the trash icon on my desktop to make it easier to delete stuff by dragging it over.

why don't u uninstall it ?
