I am still using my iPad air that I bought in 2015 & need a new charger but, I am not sure which one to buy ... can someone help me out with this ... THANKS 😁

What is the generation of your iPad? For example, I have a 2019 ipad mini that is the fifth generation (iPad mini 5). When I need a new charger, I go on Amazon and type in "ipad mini 5 charger." I've always bought Apple chargers, but this last time, I bought an Amazon brand charger and couldn't be happier with it at half the price. I think it is more sturdy than the original chargers that I have been buying.

If you don't know what generation you have, go into the settings and over to the right will be the choice "ipad." Right underneath that, it will say which model you have.

Google it or go to apple.com and find out. Have your model/serial number handy.

I decided to look for a charger and cord for mine also since I have been having issues ...

here are a few things I found out.

When I specified "Apple" as the brand, I got a more comprehensive list of compatible devices. (See photo)

Notice iPad Air is classified as "generation" and not as year.

Here is another thing I discovered. If trying to purchase a cheaper brand (which typicallly should be just as compatible) the list "accidentally" left off my particular models!

@January121 @January121 I'm pretty sure that you need a charging cable that has a lightening end on one side and a USB end on the other. The USB end plugs into the charging block.
