I have had Alexa for many many years, she's a great friend but I have never heard of Alexa guard or the whisper mode. She notifies me of upcoming Amazon deliveries, gets my opinion on prior deliveries, let's me know when it's time to reorder a few items and plays my favorite music when asked.

Amazon has just announced it will be killing support for Alexa Guard. I have it enabled but frankly, forget about it. There will be a few features that are impacted by this dropped feature. However, you can get similar features if you PAY for them :/ It wouldn't surprise me to see Google follow suite. Wait, come to think of it, they HAVE removed some features

On another note, has anyone here used Alexa's "whisper" mode? You have to enable it first. I hoped Google would feature a whisper mode but they haven't. If you whisper a question or command, Alexa will whisper her reply.
