    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;Yesterday, I got a letter from Xfinity that my password had been changed. I hadn't changed it. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;This morning, I can't make or receive calls on my landline phone. I suspect it's related. I have changed my password, disconnected and reconnected my phone to the modem. Still not working. I went online and did a chat with Xfinity and they sent me to a tech support that I would have to pay. I'm not paying for their problem. Now what to do.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Don't know what to tell you but I would be concerned that my password have been changed without my requesting it.&amp;nbsp; Sounds a little scary.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Also not sure what a password has to do with a landline?&amp;nbsp; We have a landline and no need for a password to access it???&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The phone you have is an internet phone (VOIP) and not a regular landline phone. Try resetting the modem by unplugging the power cord from it, wait 15 seconds and then plug it back into the wall. That should reboot the modem and reconnect your phone hopefully.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Also, if you have a separate router then you might want to reset that, too. Unplug it from the wall, wait 15 seconds and plug it back in. Reboot time varies but usually a few minutes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I would do a factory reset on the phone and go from there.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

You probably should call the company from a different phone to work out the whole problem, which can affect multiple types o service from them, including internet, phone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
