My Apple laptop is 11 years old and still works like new. I install all the updates, use malwarebytes, and do whatever is necessary to maintain it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

You don"t say whether his response was in an email or verbally but I would ask him since he said it. &amp;nbsp; He's the only one to really know what his definition of "relevant" is. &amp;nbsp; I would also google the term as related to computer and see what comes up.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

By 2026 or so., it will be 9 years old, more or less. So considering a newer model would not be out of the question.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For older laptops and likewise iPhones the software updates are no longer able to be done so you can still use the equipment but you won't have the most recent software on your apple products. I believe it's apples way of giving a lifetime to a unit so that you have to upgrade at some point. I had this happen with an iPhone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
