Apple AirPods

I haven't been a big fan of AirPods of other brands as I have a hard time getting them to stay in my ears. T tried the Apple AirPods and like them pretty much. No trouble keeping them in place.

What do you use for headphones/pods?

I don't like head or ear phones or any sound pumped directly into my ears. My hearing is super charged and it is too much for me.

I just turn the sound down so low as not to disturb anyone, but I can hear it fine.

I have a brand new set of Apple Airpods that I have never used. The box is still wrapped in plastic.

I will probably give them to one of my grandkids. My name is on the case as they are personalized.

I have some apple AirPods, but they don't stay in my ear well....so I don't use them (too easy to fall out and lose them). The audio quality of them is excellent but they're literally painful to wear. I have some cheap ($20) wired around-the-ear audio buds that I wear on the treadmill and they're fantastic. Go figure.

I have pair of Sennheiser Momentum and Galaxy Pro 2 earbuds. The difference in the two buds is size. The MWT2 fit better and are easier to handle.

You may need to find a different type of earbud tip, or larger size buds.

I have airpods but I hardly ever use them. I may have used them 5 times in 2 years. They will not stay in my ear. I put them in and I can feel them slipping out of my ears. Its as if my ears push them out. One time I was using them while talking on the phone and cleaning chicken. Next thing I know the airpod slipped out of my ear and fell in the sink. I bought some silicone covers from Amazon that helps to keep them in a little, but I have to remove them when placing my airpods in the case and then put them on again each time I want to use them, so they are not practical for me. They also are not very comfortable.I cannot see how my 14 yr. old DS wears them. He even falls asleep with them in his ears.

I grew up with an almost deaf mother, a hard of hearing father and brother and a sister who was deaf in one ear.

My younger sister has normal hearing and I and the oldest of my two brothers both have exceptional hearing.

I have no reason why this is. My sense of smell is pretty good too. Now, if only I could see well.

@Lilysmom1 I had cataract surgery on my right eye about 20 years ago. I had cataract surgery on my left eye yesterday.

I can see fine with my newly surgical eye, but it is quite swollen this morning. The other eye was never swollen like this after surgery.

I am legally blind in my right eye after Lasix surgery. If I wear a huge expensive contact lens, I can correct my vision to 20/30 in my right eye which I am happy with.

Anyhow, my eyes could be better. I can't just jump out of bed and go. It is a PIA to have to install a contact lens that sometimes needs to be inserted and removed several times to get it to fit right to be able to see.

I am happy I can see, but I wish it was easier.

I guess I am done complaining..........

This thread makes me doubly grateful for my hearing aids. They're blue-toothed to my phone, so no need for AirPods or any similar devices. At last an advantage to being hard of hearing.

I love my Apple Beats Pro. The have ear hooks and stay put while running and working out.

I have four pairs of Air Pods. They are all I use. I use them all the time when talking on the phone.

Funny story, I got a new pair after my divorce and I named them in my Apple account but for whatever reason they keep changing to My ex’s name Air Pods. After changing them to my preferred name for them countless times I gave up. My kids can see my location and devices and they laugh about it all the time.
