If those don't work, check for upgrades on the e-reader software. Trying the e-reader on a friend's/neighbor's computer to be sure the issue isn't with the port on the e-reader might narrow the possible list of culprits. It could be a port failure on the e-reader.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;A computer that's connected to an e-reader should recognize it in some manner. If it's not, then there's a failure to communicate and that would imply one of the ports (computer or e-reader) or the cable. It could be purely software related, but if that's the case there's not a lot you can do until the software gets fixed. If it is a port or cable issue you have more options.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
