I haven't noticed a difference in font size, but the font STYLE changed on the time display overnight following an update that happened about 1 month ago. The numbers are now thicker and less stylized than they used to be. There were numerous other changes in the way notifications appear etc...

The font size sometimes adjusts to the app you are on but if you go to settings then display there is a font size option you can adjust that with an arrow ont he bottom of the screen to make it larger.
