Did some checking of this product and apparently in order to get any volumne from it when it is attached to BOSE , you must turn the BOSE volumne to 99!! Buyer beware!

I ordered it yesterday AM. I tried to cancel when I read your comment yesterday evening, but it had already shipped! Rats! Now I'll have to pay shipping to send it back if it's like you say.

The version 2 has an amplifier, unlike the original. So maybe it won't have that issue?

I got one to try with a wave radio 4 (no CD drive) we got a few years ago. For the price it's worth a try.

@bargainsgirl: Update: I received the device and it works just fine. You can adjust the volume on your device so there is no need to turn the volume up on the Wave. So, I'll keep it.
