    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3" color="#FF0000"&gt;We have been trying to adjust to the new smart tv and streaming....we notice that with out a cable box, caller ID is not showing up on the tv screen.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3" color="#FF0000"&gt;I have tried to find the answer online but no answer....&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3" color="#FF0000"&gt;Do we need the cable box in order for caller ID to show up? &amp;nbsp;thanks&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Check with your cable company, but, yes, I think you'd need to to subscribe to cable / have a box in order to see caller ID on the TV screen.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a cable box on all our TV's except for one. We don't get caller IDon that one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even with a box though, while we are streaming, we don't get caller id.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You have to be watching a channel that you get on the box for caller ID. If you watch only streaming I don't think you will ever get caller ID - basically you are on the internet.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Spectrum has a support service line and I'm sure if you call them they can answer your question since you are a customer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm just thinking out loud, I would think you would need some kind of device to get the phone to "talk to" the TV.&amp;nbsp; You have a connection from the phone into the internet and you need something to take that connection to your TV.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/8172"&gt;@Mistreatedbycs&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3" color="#FF0000"&gt;I should have their number on speed dial...we have had nothing but trouble since we bought the new smart tv and switched to streaming. &amp;nbsp;They have had to put in 3 new modem and routers....they first two were junk, kept dropping the internet. &amp;nbsp;Now they are going to bury a new cable line to the house. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3" color="#FF0000"&gt;Then yesterday when they were at the house for the service call, he made some changes to the tv on the back porch and hooked up a cable that we don't know why..we had no problems with that tv as we still use a cable box for watching tv.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3" color="#FF0000"&gt;He forgot to tell us what he did and why..he was here for two hours and I think was in a rush to leave. &amp;nbsp;We just discovered the added cable this morning.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3" color="#FF0000"&gt;Spectrum is the only internet company around or I would switch.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
