New Samsung a11 tracfone screen cracked

No, I didn’t drop it, it is only about 1 month old...I am very careful and I even applied a screen protector..

Yesterdayi noticed what I thought was one my blond hairs on the screen but realized it’s a hairline crack... The screen protector is holding it together, but I guess it’s a matter of time before it won’t work anymore..

So I ordered a new one..but I am angry..Does Samsung use lower quality parts for these TracFones.

I have owned cell phones for over 20 years, Never had this happen..Yes it is in an upgraded case and I have a pocket for it in my purse, so I definitely don’t “throw it around”...

Has anyone else had this experience?

Samsung phones can be made from combination of glass and plastic materials depending on the price of the phone.

Any phone can crack or bend. Accidents happen all the time.

I had one that cracked, never knew how it happened. It did not affect the function of the phone.

Well it turned out that only my screen protector cracked..NOT my phone!! So my $3 Mr. Shield screen protector SAVED my phone! What a relief!

Wow! What a great “break!” Lol

I had a panic moment, too, when I saw a big crack on my iPhone’s screen. It also turned out to be the screensaver only. What a money saver! I’ll never go without one.
