Just got a new Samsung. Been awhile since I activated but my question is do I activate with Tracfone and then use the app to transfer photos etc....No clear directions...

@bargainsgirl. First, charge your phone then you can activate it online. There should be a website in your instructions. I always use an app called transferwizard to transfer all my data from the old to the new phone.

Sorry to be butting in on your post...

Reason is am wondering since wizardtransfer? Not sure if i worded this right. I just canceled a tablet with removable keyboard,and also you can speak to it...

Why is the reason about transfering my data from my computer which is a desk set with keyboard... Not WIFI.. Also window 7 which had an issue down loading to windows 10.

I am an older senior with not much tech knowledge... Can i use the wizardtransfer to transfer my PC data to a new tablet?

Hoping you see this and can let me know...

Again so sorry to be butting in... This sound like a life saver for me if it can be done... Just how can you down load it?

If you sign into Google on your new phone, most, if not everything you need, will transfer over without using Transfer Wizard. They've really simplified the whole transfer process to the point where signing in pretty much takes care of everything. (At least for me.)

You can share data with your Windows computer and a tablet.
The Bridge is a Chrome browser and a Gmail mail account. The tablet has to run a Chrome app.
Any iPad or a true Android like a Samsung tablet will run a Chrome app.
You will can store 15 GB of data free.

Window 10 had issues with the hardware on your Window 7 machine,and the software decides what hardware works.

Transferring data from a desktop to a tablet can be done fairly easily, even automatically, depending on the data and how it's stored. If you're using cloud storage (Google, Amazon, Dropbox, Microsoft, etc.) then simply installing the matching app on the tablet and signing in should make all of that data readily available on the tablet. I have Amazon Prime and all of my photos, videos get automatically saved to Amazon's cloud. I can simply log-in on a new device and there they are. Google works the same way. My Word documents (along with photos/videos) get saved on Microsoft's cloud (One Drive). I log onto the One Drive app on my tablet/phone and there they are.

If you're not saving stuff to the cloud currently, you should be able to manually transfer files from your computer to your tablet by connecting the two with a USB cable and dragging and dropping through file manager. That can be a bit trickier, but it's typically doable. If you search for "transferring files from computer to tablet" you should be able to find step by step instructions and YouTube videos to walk you through the manual process.

Can you run Microsoft Office on a Fire tablet?

The answer is No.

This a very nice media device. It does not have the processor power or RAM to run Office.

An iPad can be used as a desktop replacement with cloud storage from Chrome then Apple's iCloud.

LOL, I tried once to connect a Samsung phone to a Windows 7 computer. My phone almost stopped running. I use cloud storage.

Google Photos is making changes to its unlimited storage next year.

Samsung.com is making changes and using Microsoft Outlook for storage.

The are in a partnership with Microsoft to bring Office tools to many new devices.

If you plan to buy a new computer, and need help please ask. You can use a tablet as you device of choice.

I use a Samsung S7 + tablet and a Note 10 + phone as my main devices.

This is a heavy ad site Notebookcheck.net where I test a device. Any device that can handle this site is up to par.

An iPad can handle the data on this site. Apple makes nice devices.

You can run Microsoft's One Drive on a Fire tablet, I've got it on mine. So, if your data is stored on One Drive you can access it on your tablet.
