    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Upgrade of some sort bugs me every morning when I start computer.....so far I'm just clicking them away.........but from past experience...eventually they just move in and do it without permission.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;These updates mess everything up and often have to hire an IT to get back to normal.&amp;nbsp; Not sure what you're referencing as I've not had any recent update YET.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;...I lost the audio.&amp;nbsp; Then I had a trouble shooter check it.&amp;nbsp; Audio drivers problem.&amp;nbsp; Fixed it.&amp;nbsp; Yes, worked 24 hours.&amp;nbsp; Then I went back to them and let them know.&amp;nbsp; I went to their forum when no response.&amp;nbsp; There were dozens of people complaining.&amp;nbsp; I keep getting pop-ups suggesting this, that or the other.&amp;nbsp; Driver Easy keeps popping up.&amp;nbsp; I cannot seem to find anything out about that.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone else here have same/similar problem, anybody had experience with audio drivers, etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HELP.&amp;nbsp; I am so frustrated.&amp;nbsp; My #1 son is IT geek but he is out of country working on project.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes my desktop just recently had a new version of Win10 installed. Before it installed I noticed&amp;nbsp;a statement on my notification that there was one coming and that I could install it then instead of waiting...so I did. There was only one issue I had and that was with a volume control setting which disappeared...but I found it later. Everything else is fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After the update I did a disk clean up and CCleaner run. I usually do those things right after Win10 updates.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, all of you for your input and responses.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I got a notice that there would be an upgrade but I did not agree to it&amp;nbsp; Instead I did not want the upgrade. It did it surreptitiously during the night and the next morning I have an upgrade and no audio which, for me, is a downgrade.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Something&amp;nbsp; crazy always when I get an upgrade.&amp;nbsp; Once I could not even get into the computer, only the desktop and it would not take my password.&amp;nbsp; It kept telling me it had sent me a password to my email.&amp;nbsp; That is an old email and I don't have it on my iphone so I could not get into my computer to get the email.&amp;nbsp; Finally, I guess it got tired of me and opened up after about 3 weeks.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now this is frustrating.&amp;nbsp; No audio.&amp;nbsp; I have to copy and paste URL and send to my email on the phone and listen from there.&amp;nbsp; Technolgy love-hate relationship.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you check your settings for sound?&amp;nbsp; Go to Settings &amp;gt; System &amp;gt; Sound.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes an update sets audio volume all the way back to zero.&amp;nbsp; You can adjust back to an audible level.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;Yes, frequent problems after an update, usually running very slow.&amp;nbsp; I usually do a restore, either removing the update or the date before it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;After the restore, Microsoft will hound me about the update, but I hold off as long as I can.&amp;nbsp; During that time, Microsoft solves the problems and the new update is OK.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;However, I don't guarantee the new update will be OK, but so far, it's worked for me.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No problams after my upgrade the other day.&amp;nbsp; I didn't lose my wallpaper like I did the first time it upgraded.&amp;nbsp; The audio is fine.&amp;nbsp; Took forever to upgrade, but it turned out be pretty good.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Then hit the &lt;STRONG&gt;Clean up system files&lt;/STRONG&gt; button. Another window will open showing progress bar followed by a another window and press &lt;STRONG&gt;OK&lt;/STRONG&gt; button. A final window&amp;nbsp;will open asking if you want to permanently delete then hit the &lt;STRONG&gt;Delete Files&lt;/STRONG&gt; button. That's it, you're done.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For CCleaner you'll need to download the app for that. It's free at CCleaner dot com from their download section.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been having trouble with the updates for over a year.&amp;nbsp; My computer goes nuts.&amp;nbsp; I finally decided to stop the automatic updates by going into settings and changing the date for the upgrade.&amp;nbsp; I push the date out as far as I can and then go back in just before the date and change it to a future date.&amp;nbsp; While it is a paid to do this, at least your computer doesn't encounter any problems with these upgrades.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-SPOILER&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI-SPOILER&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm having &lt;EM&gt;all&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;kinds of problems since the latest Windows Update! It's been unreal! I can't even access my&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;File Explorer&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;anymore which is a HUGE problem as I need it for when i record my internet classic rock show, sadly System Restore is a joke ~ for whatever reason, doesn't help at all and at first there WERE 3 different System Restore points but after the first one I tried didn't complete and failed, 2 of the points&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;disappeared&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;ugh ~&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;never seen anything like this before with an automatic update ~ I tried running System Restore in&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Safe Mode,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;that was an epic fail and didn't complete either ~ can anyone help me?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm getting desperate lol! I'm not a computer whiz like I maybe once was years ago and this has me totally baffled.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did come across a story on a site that apparently&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;after this recent update,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;many people had &lt;STRONG&gt;lost&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;their File Explorer, I keep hoping Microsoft will release a patch to fix this problem!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks so much for any help!! 💞💞&lt;/P&gt;</description>

COS is a partial (kernel) installation of Linux.
