iPhone Option to Block Caller

I used to be able to have the option to block a caller when an unknown call comes in. All of a sudden, I don't have that option. Has this occurred to any one?

@rms1954 I just went through all my calls and blocked all the unknown ones. iPhone 6s

You can do that by going to Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers.

I have an iPhone 7 and routinely block callers. I just checked and there was one call showing that I could not block, but I did have the option to "unblock", so I'm presuming I had already blocked that number. Beyond that, I'm still able to block callers.

Adding that this option never worked to begin with. I would block a call and yet I still get them from that same number.

Maybe it's time for a new phone.

go to recent calls...click on the ? at end of the number...choose block this caller

or just google your specific iphone and ask the question

If you have that checked, you can block a caller in your Recents list by touching the Info icon to the right of the number (small i in a circle) and scrolling down to Block This Caller. Click on Block This Caller and then select Block Contact.

Go to your Recents, next to the number will be a little i on the right side. Hit that and scroll all the way down and block the number.
