Hi

I am not computer savvy and could use some help on two matters.

I have an Acer Notebook with Windows 7. That's just about how much I know about my computer. My husband knows a little more and in most cases can get me out of jam but not with what I need help with. Here are my problems.....

I do my banking online. Lately when I go to sign in I get a message that my browser is not as strong as I should be using. They recommend a number of browsers of which I recognize Google Chrome and I think Fire Fox among the list. Let me say here I am not sure what browser I use unless that is Windows 7. I can find Google Chrome and can download it free however in the information I get, I have to open an account, allow changes to my computer, etc. along with a warning that this could do damage to my computer. Could someone please tell me first what is Google Chrome, do I really need it, and anything else you may think I should know about Goggle Chrome. Am I correct in assuming that if I download Google Chrome, this will be my "search" engine plus more?

My other problem is Adobe Flash.....is there a way to check if I have it. I have two problems with this. Sometimes when I want to watch a video, I am asked if I want to download Adobe Flash or I get a window that states I need to update Adobe and I try run the update and every time and I mean every time I try to up date the procedure fails. I have no idea as to why other than I don't have that program in my computer.

I am sorry for a long message but to me these are two BIG PROBLEMS I sure could use help, suggestions, and advice, anything to help me understand what I need to do. I certainly would appreciate your help.

Many Thanks!
