HP Printer Question

I own a HP Office Jet Pro 8710. I love it but it will not print on A4 print paper or 220 gsm print paper or 80 lb. cardstock. I am interested in the HP Office Jet Pro 8035. I was told by one HP sales person that it will not. I was told by another that it will print on those media.

The Jet Pro 8035 gives the below media weights but are those only for the HP brand photo paper and HP brands of paper only? I use 220 gsm printing paper from the UK, it is not photo paper. Does anyone have the answer if this will print on 220 gsm plain paper?

60 to 105 g/m² (plain); 220 to 280 g/m² (photo); 75 to 90 g/m² (envelope); 163 to 200 g/m² (card)
