It's locked. Can only be used with Tracfone. ONLY has 16GB of memory. I need at least 32GB. I'd pass on this one. They've had better deals.

If I were looking for a new Tracfone, I'd spend an additional $10 and purchase the Samsung A10e. For the extra $ you would get a newer operating system (9 rather than 8.0) and 32GB of memory rather than 16GB. The screen is also slightly bigger but it's marginal. It also has free s&h though I'm not sure how long that will last. Sometimes they have sales on these phones but it's impossible to know when that might happen.

I agree with SusieQ. I had the Samsung J7 Crown for a year. It was nice but if I wanted to make or receive a call, I had to sit at my kitchen table in order to get any signal bars....or go outside. I live in a rural area of North Florida and reception is spotty. We can't even get cable or broadband here.

HSN had the A10e on special a few weeks ago and boy am I pleased. Now, I have 5 bars and can make calls from any room in the house. The Crown had a larger screen and was wider but I can live with the slimmer screen of the A10e.

I would buy the A10e before anything else. My sister has an I phone and has to go outside to make calls...she lives down the road from me. Verison blamed her metal roof....well, I have a metal roof also and now I can call from any room in the house.

I've been using the Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown since end of December, and have found it to be an amazing phone and I love how it works, the speed, great clarity of calls, no problems making and receiving calls, everything set up fast and effortlessly.

The best thing is the camera, just totally amazing, lots of megapixels make for super photos. Editing is easy, effects are easy, it seems to know how to get a great picture without you having to do much at all.

For the past 5 years I've used LG smart phones, tracfones from QVC, and they were fine, and this new J7Crown is a treat compared to those. I don't use many apps so the 16 mg is just fine, especially after using 8 mg phones that ran out of memory very fast.

All my minutes and data transferred quickly as did my phone number, in seconds really. I set it up online with my tracfone account. HTH.

Q has that Samsung A10e currently for $99.96, E233821, free S&H, 5-pay. Sometimes it pays to procrastinate!
