I love my Kindle Fire HD 8.9. Among the loves is that amazon offers a free app each day. Don't forget to check for those daily.

Also I love being an Amazon Prime member so that I can stream videos. I watch old TV shows on my Kindle, or on my television when it is hooked up to the Kindle, every day. I watched all the seasons of The Closer, Numb3rs, Poirot, well, endless more. It's especially great because there are no commercials. I can't abide watching TV because my attention gets lost because of all the commercial breaks.

An Amazon Prime video (free streaming) that I recommend for your winter pleasure is "Fireplace for Your Home--Classic Edition". You can make a fireplace out of your TV...nice if you have a bedroom TV that becomes a beautiful fire to sleep by.

Remember, with your new Kindle Fire, you get 30 days free of Amazon Prime, so you can try out streaming videos. Watch all you want for that month and then decide if Amazon Prime is for you. If so, it costs, $79 a year, and not only includes streaming video, but also free two-day shipping of all your Amazon purchases..and I buy everything from Amazon...from coffee to plumbing parts, trailer supplies, rugs, purses, books and other entertainment, even jewelry.
