Question about app installed on Tracfone

I have the Motorola E5 from Tracfone and was wondering about an app (?) I found already installed on it. I tried to Google it but am not really finding enough info about it to know what its purpose is. I'm hoping one of you might know if it's needed or not. Here's how it's listed: com.pivotmobile.android.metrics. Thanks for any help with this.

Pivot Mobile is an Android app developer. Do you have any of their apps installed? Here's a few of them.

@Caffeina --I'd have to check to see if any of the ones you have are installed. If so, was done by Motorola or Tracfone. The only apps I've installed are the Jeopardy game and WyzeCam ones. I was concerned that this might be malware. Thought about uninstalling, but not knowing what it was used for, didn't know if doing so could cause problems if it was legit.Thanks for getting back to me about this.

Yes you can uninstall. It was likely installed by something that had advertising tagging along.

Can com.pivotmobile.android.metrics be uninstalled?
