What am I doing wrong?

When apps are downloaded to my iPad and iPhone, they are small and I can’t seem to get them to show full screen. When the expand option appears, it doesn’t take them to full screen either. What’s the trick? Thank you.

I don't have an i Pad, but while you're waiting for an answer from someone who does, I say check the settings.

Display settings for the device, and the individual app's settings as well.

@CalminHeart. Did you google your question? I have iPad and iPhone and always google my question and find the answers.
