Tracfone Samsung 32GB 8.0 does it exist?

I cracked my current tracfone, A Samsung Galaxy J7 SkyPro, and only has 16GB- even though I run an SD card, 16 isnt enough..Rather than get the screen fixed, I think I should just get a new phone-

I am running 6.0 and would obviously like to get 8.0 since one day soon lots of the apps will not work with 6.0 (like Ring)

I prefer to stay with Samsung, since I have owned both LG and Motorola and find the Samsung to be the best fir for me..

So, i need a 32GB 8.0 Samsung Tracfone- , soundssimple, but I havenot been able to find one?

Any suggestions?

I don't know if tracfone offers one but do they allow you to use your own phone? I use straight talk which is actaully tracfone and you can bring your own phone and get their service. Looks like the Samsung A30 is 32 gb and runs 9.0. I'm sure there are others, that's just one of the first to come up.

I added a memory card to my Skypro 7.

It was one I had purchased & used in a previous, non-Tracfone phone.

Why do you need more memory?

If you are running a lot of Apps, many Apps can't be downloaded to an SD card.

But the extra space will work for pictures.

Yes, I did add that, but very very few of my apps are dowloadable to it- it IS great for my pictures.. and I dont really have that many apps- The Google software that is loaded on these phones is huge.. I just think that if I am going to get a new phone it should be better, have more space than this one which is getting maxed out...

I guess I thought it would be easy to find that..Tracfone must know that lots of folks will eventually want to trade up...But the only Samsung with 32 GB that they offer is only Marshmallow, and we are already on Oreo..

Shop around for unlocked phones and you'll find every style of Samsung phone you could want at every price point imaginable. Then use the "Bring your phone" kit from Tracfone to make it a Tracfone compatible phone.

You may want to check a site TracfoneReviewer. Com. I. agree with Gardenman an unlocked phone would be best.

I would look at all 32GB phones.

When it comes ot the unlocked phones, you can get pretty much anything these days. Network compatibility is something you have to consider, but some come equipped for both GSM and CDMA. Amazon has a really large selection including some that come preloaded with Amazon apps and extra goodies. The bring your own phone feature from Tracfone is cheap (often a penny) so there's no real reason not to go for an unlocked phone if you want more than what Tracfone is currently offering.

I had pictures and videos on two phones, finally wised up and moved then into Google Photos (cloud) . Opened of tons of space on the phone.

Now i can access my pix & vids from any device that gets Google. Don't have to work about breaking my phone and losing my beloved pictures.

Also, kept a copy of only the most frequently accessed pictures on phone. That's a mere fraction of what was in there.

Yes, i use "Picture Keeper".. I especially like it because I am mostly Mac- IPad and Laptop- my phone is my only "google" device, and it works across all formats..

Thanks for all the great suggestions- I did call Tracfone and they do NOT make one...but the rep said to "keep checking" as if they might have one soon, i am thinking/hoping...

So far, my crack is not too bad, so I can wait..in the mean time, I will be checking out those unlocked phones!
