Outlook email on Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Today my husbands Samsung Note 8 phone has stopped receiving or sending emails on his outlook email account although his other email accounts work. He receives them on his computer and tablet but not his phone. He has tried many of the ideas on line but none seem to be working. Any ideas how to fix.

@kitty60 My husband and I are both having problems opening anything through Outlook and have been since yesterday afternoon. We are using another browsers for now. I hope it is temporary.

I would be interested if anyone knows the details of this problem???

My husband just uninstalled and reinstalled outlook and it seems to be working.
