I am thinking of getting locator tiles for our car/house keys. Does anyone use them? Any brands or types you recommend over others? TIA. LM

yep. on my 2nd set of Tiles, love them really have lost my wallet or keys other than in the house,

they now sell them with replaceable batteries.

frequently on special you know where but not really crazy expensive either

you need a phone to find them tho

I use the TrackR models. They have easily replaceable batteries and their signal is very audible. I keep one in my wallet and one on the fob for my car. The TrackR is small and flat, reliable and requires easy to use software that can be installed on a smartphone or a tablet.

I used the Tile brand for a while, but at the time they did not have replaceable batteries (they do now), so I switched to TrackR for the convenience.

These are the two major brands of tracking discs. There are many reviews online ofmthe several competitors in the genre. I’d be very wary of anything but these two. Reliability and ease of use are the key factors if you misplace an important object. So if the thing is not able to emit a strong signal or the software is wonky, you won’t find what is missing and that’s the whole point of investing in these gizmos. But either Tile or TrackR won’t let you down.

I use Tile.

Upgraded to the new model with replaceable batteries once my initial ones wore out ( 1-2years). I love it. If you can't find your keys use the App to ring them. If you can't find the phone but have the keys you can press a button and your phone rings.

Very convenient either way.

go to amazon and check it out, there was a special deal around christmas 40 or 50 off for a set of 4 2 for the wallet and 2 for the keys, they run them frequently

btw I thought the replaceable battery version might be too thick for my wallet but it works just fine ,
