Recently my I-pad will not connect to internet. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I was wondering if it is because I had to get a new phone about a month ago and I switched from android to an Apple phone . That is the only thing that is different and I don't know what that would have to do with it but it is getting really frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. I am not tech savy at all!

Have you gone to settings and see if your Wifi is listed there, if not turn your router off and on and then if not call Apple for more assistance

@isaboo, does your phone connect to WiFi? If it does, then so should your iPad. Try doing a soft reset on your iPad (turning it off, wait for 10-20 seconds and then turn back on). If you just received your phone, you still should have AppleCare. I would call 800-MYAPPLE and they should be able to help. If you can’t connect your phone or any other devices using WiFi, reset your router or call your provider.

I just turn the Wi Fi setting off and then a few seconds later turn the Wi Fi back on. Even if my Wi Fi is on just resetting the Wi Fi seems to work.

If not the router resetting was a good suggestion @I am still oxox said to try.

No reason why mine ever did this but it worked.

Also make sure Airplane mode is not on.
