You can transfer VHS tapes to DVD disks which I have done. I know that I can only play the DVD disks that I transferred from the VHS on this unit only but now every time I put a DVD in this things keep flashing every 5 seconds that says something about HDMP and copyrighting. Could it be <SPAN style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px;">copy protection encryption?
