HSN is also selling the iPad, I don't know if it's the same price as at QVC. I heard a woman who called in tell David she bought the iPad for her two year old grandson. Now you can spend your money any way you like, but a two year would be just as happy with a $150 tablet. I would wait another eight years or so to buy him an iPad.

I have not looked at iPads in quite some time.

Is this their newest iPad or is this something already out of date?

Mine is older & cannot update anymore. Don't know if I want to waste my money on another iPad or not. I thought I should have been able to update mine as much money as I paid for it.

I have got mad & thrown it across the floor several times. LOL!!! It still works.

For the price I guess this one is not WiFi + Cellular that I could use while traveling?

I bought the iPad 2018 with the 128GB from HSN and love it. I got the rose gold one. It is called gold but really rose gold. I would have bought all the accessories anyways. I am typing on it and the case is very nice. I took the keyboard out but tried it first and it was easy to connect and types beautifully.

The ear plugs that come with it has a great sound and comfortable. I also got a bag that matched mine. The stand is perfect for putting on in the kitchen.

Mine is sold out but the one for $549.95 was what I paid. They just have a different accessory combination now.

I usually buy from Apple directly but this also comes with Tech Help for anyone with questions or help. Just remember to call Apple for system problems though. I put AppleCare on mine.

2018 is the newest iPad and it comes with OS 11 and upgradable to OS 12. I left mine at 11 until all the problems they may have with 12 is worked out.

It's still 129 dollars over Apple's price and the aftermarket accessories they include are not at all worth the difference IMO.

Maybe I'm not very trusting, but somehow I think Apple is going to have a new iPad coming out shortly, maybe they're clearing their inventory out. Now getting this iPad, there is nothing wrong with this model, as for me I like to get the latest and greatest, I'm holding out for an announcement for a new iPad Pro.

all those accessories can be found on the big A or at TJ or Marshalls type of store, not worth adding over $100+ to the cost of an iPad which you can buy anywhere,

@Jordan2 I agree that a new iPad Pro should be coming. I want to buy the one they have now as they usually drop the price online right after that happens.

I always have two iPads and pass on the ones I replace to my daughter or grandchildren.

@jaxs mom ... usually QVC does not sell the most recent versions of Apple products .... at ridiculously high prices. Always better to purchase directly from Apple IMHO.

This morning while working with my Apple Pencil, I realized how much more “intuitive” it is! This will GREATLY benefit my projects! ( Cataracts and less stability of hands as I age hinder)

I did notice in the past some HAPTICS, meaning ie: lift the phone and it turns on. Also, my last iPhone sort of knew how to set itself based on my habits, which it seemed to intuit!

I am grateful to this company for introducing products and updates that make life easier.

To add: my tv and Apple devices are listening! They know which sites I visit on the internet and then offer up those favorites predicted to like.

I yelled at the “smart” tv for playing a “twangy” country song! lol. And I used to make fun of people for “talking” to ALEXA!

The two year olds in our family were happy with their parents’ phones! Well, not at 2...nearer to three.

The DGD did call an Uber unexpectedly; but our DGS has learned all about “tractows” (tractors) and tells us about “bailers” and “lifters.”

However, all of them have rubberized enclosures on them.

I don’t know much about the cellular tablets?

They probably require a cell tower so one would need to have the same as a mobile account just like a phone.

My iPad works in the car on trips (maps)...but it may be accessing my iPhone cellular for that? IDK
