topic Paging Gardenman or other Techies! in Electronics

Something happened and all of a sudden I cannot open my EPUB books that I've downloaded and when I transfer them to my reader, they don't work there either. HELP! I've looked it up and it seems it's an Adobe problem? Nothing has changed on my fairly new computer, so I'm wondering if it was an Adobe update?? If anyone knows, can you give me a clue?

Thanks so much in advance!
