How do I get Classic GMail back ?

they took away 'restore to classic Gmail option' there on the right side

'gear' icon.

Is this another of Windows ways of ramming down your throat something you don't want to use. They take away the option to go back to Classic Gmail

Try another browser. I can change back to the old version on all 3 of my browsers (Waterfox, Firefox & Safari).

I am using a Mac.

I am using Chrome browser, clicked on the "Go Back to Classic GMail" in the settings menu, it blanked, reloaded, and it was the same new gmail....oh well.

I absolutely hate this new version! It just is a mess to my way of thinking. Tinker, tinker, tinker --- does it make it better, easier, nicer -- NO!!!

@AngelPuppy1 I googled 'back to classic gmail' this morning, it's there for you. However it also noted that classic will eventually go away forever. I just left mine as is. I don't like the emails all bunched up but the type of print at least on my laptop is larger and bolder. The new is easy to work.

From what I understand it's the same ol' Windows forcing you to use what they want U to use , regardless, of what you want.

course, your paying for the machine and the ISP monthly charge, but, that means nothing to them. their way or the hwy. Makes me see RED

I got Safari too on the Mac and it doesn't offer going back to Classic any more just that 'density' option.

just takes time to get around to everybody I guess.

I don't like it either. I find it difficult to read but I read an article that said there will be no more option to change back after the 2 week grace period. Best thing to do is to send your feedback to Google like I did.

I'm glad I bought a apple mac mini they don't give a **** what U use. LOL

I can't afford to get away from Windows altogether. You can buy a windows laptop for 300, Apple, is 1,000 minimum
