This past Tuesday, Windows downloaded IE 10 to my laptop while doing automatic updates. At first, I was all right with it until I discovered that having it affected my HP computer's simple pass fingerprint scanner. On most sites, I could still scan my fingerprint to log on, but it would not work on one of the sites I go to quite frequently.

I tried repeatedly to sign in, but couldn't. Also tried deleting that site's sign-in info from the password manager and re-entering it, but still wouldn't work. So, I finally decided to remove IE 10 and go back to IE 8 (never updated to IE 9). Now everything's working fine again. For the time being, I have hidden the IE 10 update so it won't reinstall, but may allow it to do so in the future.

Would love to know if others are having any kind of problems with IE 10 (besides my particular one), and whether it would be advisable to wait until any bugs are worked out or if I should just go ahead and reinstall it. Thanks!
