Mine is out for delivery today. Can't wait to play with my new toy.

As soon as I typed that UPS came by. I set it up in about 3 minutes (had to re-boot my modem) and we are off. It looks up the contacts in your mobile phone.

Easy peasy and way too fun.

I don't understand why someone would want this unless you make and receive a lot of phone calls.

How about you live alone and fall but can't get up. You're not injured but need help. So easy to call out Alexa, call ______. That individual answers, you explain the situation and help is on the way without having to find a way to call 911.

In reality it turns your Amazon Echo devices into glorified speakerphones but speakerphones that operate by voice control from anywhere within its field of hearing.

I have Ooma VOIP phone service and I was unsure if this Connect would work with it. Low and behold Ooma sent me an email with their offering of the Connect. Turns out with Ooma phone service the Connect can also retrieve voice mails hands-free!...exclusive to Ooma only. I may have to get one of these.
