iPad 9.7 Bundle - This Today's Special Value was a JOKE!

I ordered this bundle - the iPad - keyboard, screen protector and accessories as a gift when they had it on TSV - 10/18. Get the box and it is missing the keyboard and screen protector. This was to be a gift and half the items are missing. I call and am told that they will have to get with the warehouse and get the missing items shipped but it could take up to 2 weeks to receive. Well now it has been almost a week since the call and I am sent an email from QVC saying that if I am missing any parts I need to contact a completely different company and let them know.

I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to fix the errors done by QVC. If you go and read all the reviews that are now available for this product you will see that all but 1 have the same issue - missing parts and majority can't get the colors that they ordered due to be unavailable now.

I have called back to QVC and explained how frustrated I am about his and was told I can send the item back and they can resend a new one out. Why would I do that and have the same experience because apparently everyone is having this issue?

QVC - you need to look at what you did with this. If it was only a couple of people with issues - it wouldn't be such a big deal but read the reviews and see that all the reviews are coming back as bad - including the 1 decent review that said they got it all but the screen protector immediately cracked.

Extremely disappointed in QVC on this one!

I will not be shopping with QVC anymore after this experience. I am beyond irritated about how this has been handled and can't believe what a screw up this whole thing has been. Apparently - not only are people missing half the product included in this TSV but a lot are saying they have defective iPads and when contacting Apple they are told they are defective and to send back for new ones.

Most likely you over paid for all the items QVC has a huge markup on these items. I own a lotof apple products and never have I bought any of them from QVC.

With it being a bundle with so many accessories - it would've been a good deal BUT since they didn't give the accessories as stated it is a JOKE.

Also - I believe this a refurbished iPad and not actually a new one - as it doesn't even want to work correctly. It is now all packed up and being returned and QVC will never get my business again!

So glad i did not buy an Ipad from Q ...i just a couple weeks ago went to ATT store to purchase new phone and they had a promotion going on and offered a 9.7 2017 ipad for 99.00 its also Celluar which will cost an extra 10 bucks a mont....needless to say i purchased the ipad and i love it..i have older mini i pad and it has gotten so slow...

Would NEVER buy ANY computer product from ANY TV Shopping Channel. We buy our Apple products from the Apple Store On-Line, or an Apple Retail Store, or an Apple Authorized Reseller, and nowhere else.

The law requires that all refurbished items must be sold as such. I have a refurbished iPad2 that's 5-6 years old and works fine. Its more likely that you're not using it correctly.

No - that isn't the issue. The Apple Store after trying to make it work correctly is saying that it isn't a new iPad - that it has been refurbished and that is why it has errors and will not load apps or anything from iCloud correctly. I have lots of Apple products and this is the first I have ever had an issue with any Apple product.

Very disappointed in how this whole thing has turned out. Wish all the negative reviews and comments that are now showing on the item - would've been there before I bought it.

Just hope to keep others from going through the same hassle that I and (according to all the negative reviews) others are going through. Pain to have to box it all back up and take it and wait for a refund to be issued and make sure I am not charged for the return shipment - since this is QVC issue with the product being bad and missing half of the "bundle".

Has the Apple store examined the iPad? Did they decided it was refurbished by checking the serial number? I don't know how they could decide it was refurbished unless they did either of these things.

This doesn't help your case at all, but I think channels sometimes aren't very up front about certain things. This was on the H channel, but they were selling an iPad 9,7 and swore up and down it was the latest and newest version and having just bought the latest version myself, I knew they were not being truthful.

You would THINK that QVC was more particular about being sure the TSVs are a quality product that is ready to be shipped and packaged well. I guess that was not the case here and someone really screwed up. I would be mad too.

You are completely right! If you look at the reviews that are now being posted majority of them are saying the same thing I am about this. Several have been to the Apple store - like I did before deciding this was just ridiculous and returning it - they also have been told these aren't new iPads. With all the errors that came across when first turning them on - there are definite issues.

Mine has been returned and I have called and told them that it is on its way and that I shouldn't be charged for the return shipping - since the item is defective and missing part of what was offered in the "bundle". We shall see what happens and after this experience, I am not sure if I will ever purchase again via QVC. This whole thing turned into a nightmare and since this was a gift to start with - kinda sucked that I had to at the last minute do something else.
