There are some iPads that ios11 does not work well on, but I am not sure if the mini 2 is one of them.

Has anyone put it on iPads yet? I have an iPad Air regular size and heard 11 doesn't work well on that. But my mini is unknown 😏

I just bought a new iPad Air. 11 did not work too well because the keyboard kept messing up. Today I updated to 11.3 and it seems to be working better.

I do not like the new keyboard however. Where you can drag the key down to change the character. I find it cumbersome and the character on the top of the keys distracting.

Constantly reinventing the wheel...

I think it depends on how old your iPad mini is. Some of the older models of Apple products can't download/support the newer IOS

It is 2 years old. I think it is running 9.3.

I am a little leery, because Apple does not let you roll back once you update.

Gotta love Apple. (and I do love Apple!), I just do not like their sales tactics. The more they update, more apps begin to fail if you are not updated, and I resent that they force people to get something new (phone, iPad, whatever). Their products are not cheap!

I guess I will wait a bit longer until I have to. I can't see the whole thread now, but at least one person confirmed they have an issue.

I have an iPad mini 2 that is a couple years old and downloaded the latest iOS 11 and it is working fine. However I also don’t really care for the new keyboard but maybe I just have to get used to it.

No one was more surprised then me when my old IPad 2 mini updated. The only difference I saw was the play store was completely changed not too many free applications. I was not going to try to update as I said on another forum. I figured the IPad was old so what the heck. Everything else is the same I checked my settings ...No big deal updating and installing it just took a few mintues no problems at all. And it seems to be compatible with the ios11 I am on it now and everything is working the same. I would recommend everyone that has a older IPAD as I do to install nothing will happen.
