USing a IPAD 3 in landscape orientation. DOwnloaded a app from Apple and it loaded in portrait orientation. How do I change it to display in landscape mode?

There is a switch on the side of the device that locks the orientation in the position you want. Unlock it and it should allow the screen to move between portrait.

Additionally many apps are only available in a combo iPhone/iPad version and some of those apps will only display in portrait mode - nothing you do will make it switch to Landscape.

I usually search in the app store by “iPad only” and those are nearly always “switchable.”
