Without really knowing what I'm talking about about, my guess would be that it wouldn't work because these other providers use the Android operating system and iPhone doesn't.

I love my iphone 6. About 1 1/2 years ago I upgraded from the iphone 5.

I will sometime within the next few months get the iphone 8, probably skipping the 7.

My son-in-law owns a business where he knows everything about computers. My late husband owned a computer business so we've always been involved with them some way. Now ask me what I know about them....(very little) Ha!

Anyway, my dear friend still has a flip phone that I kid her and say "Jesus made it when he was here on earth". Ha! It is so old, very, very thick and doesn't do anything. She has tons of money but is afraid of technology.

I keep telling her I could text her instead of always calling her and vice- versa. I've offered to give her my iphone 5 and she thinks it will be too complicated....what???

Anyway, that's my story.

You can't cross cellular network types, which is why a phone bought through Verizon which uses CDMA can't be used on AT&T who uses GSM for example. But the operating system on an iphone is always IOS regardless of the cellular carrier.

As long as it is unlocked, an Iphone or most any phone will work fine with ST as far as I know. You do not have to buy the Iphone from ST. My mom bought hers from walmart online. That has been a year or so ago though.

I bought my Samsung 7 Edge unlocked. It is an international version (which is perfectly fine). I don't think Samsung sells unlocked phones in the US. I didn't google that, so I might be wrong. I just know I couldn't find one at the time I bought mine.

I was brave and got mine off Ebay. I was a little nervous, but it was brand new and works perfect!
