topic We upgraded to Windows 8 in Electronics https://community.qvc.com/t5/Electronics/We-upgraded-to-Windows-8/m-p/285694#M4363 <P><STRONG>Hubby decided to go ahead and upgrade to Windows 8 HP tech support said our computer has not been tested to run windows 8 and we may have problems but the tech support at office depot said we could put it on our computer.</STRONG></P> <P><STRONG>Hubby wanted to give it a try I said ok got home put it in the computer no problems at all went in just perfect no error messages a smooth install.</STRONG></P> <P><STRONG>What is the fuss with Windows 8 people not likening it we like it I can switch from windows 7 desktop to Windows 8 not a problem for me and windows mail works fine.</STRONG></P> <P><STRONG>From reading the negative reviews I thought Windows 8 was going to be a pain but Hubby and I both really enjoy it. It sure did speed up our computer it was bought in 2011. Don't be scared of Windows 8 for us it was a good buy.
